Head Office relocation
After 14 years at its current location in Stroud, GBE are pleased to announce the relocation of its head office to a modern contemporary office location close to the business centres of Cheltenham and Gloucester.
Set in 12 acres of greenbelt with a rural backdrop the new office sits in a small development, and benefits from superb road and communication links being just 1 mile from M5 J11 and minutes from the spa town of Cheltenham and the city of Gloucester.
Northern Office
Following the successful completion of a number of projects in the North West of the Country, and our growing portfolio within this area, GBE is delighted to announce the opening of its regional office in Dronfield - located just South of Sheffield in West Yorkshire.
This office is headed up by our regional project management team, and offers us a stable base from where to offer the support and service that are local clients, both present and future, require.

After just three years as a Gent by Honeywell Approved System Integrator, GBE Fire & Security have now been promoted by Gent to one of only 12 Elite Systems Integrators.
This status reflects the significant sales and business development work carried out by GBE across the UK in promoting and commissioning the Gent by Honeywell product range.

New Project Awarded - Customer Service Centre, Hackney
Along with Osborne Construction and Shepherd Engineering Services Ltd, GBE is proud to be a key member of the team delivering the new Customer Service Centre in the London Borough of Hackney.
The new building will be an addition to the existing Town Hall, built to house the Local Authority's administrative staff and to make a place of contact for their borough residents. The new building occupies five principal floors, with a main entrance from a new plaza area on Hillman Street. At its heart is an atrium, the main focus of the building, housing the Council’s public reception (known as the One Stop Shop), along with a waiting area, cafe and call centre.
Due to the nature of the building design, which is a minimalist contemporary solution with a huge central atrium, GBE has faced several challenges in both design and installation. All of the equipment positions were agreed pre construction to enable all containment to be cast into the building structure. All of the internal finishes are exposed leaving no margin for error.
GBE’s involvement within this type of leading edge public service environment continues to demonstrate our progressive and open minded approach to life safety system design and installation.
